Meet Dr. Miras Bekbulatov
Qualifications & experience
Dr. Miras is a fully qualified specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG)
He has extensive experience and expertise in Obstetrics & Gynaecology by studying, training and working in different parts of the world for 25+ years.
Since moving to Australia in 2003, he worked at a variety of Australian hospitals including the largest specialist hospital in Australia – The Royal Women’s Hospital (Melbourne), and the largest maternity care provider in Victoria – Monash Women’s (Monash Medical Centre, Victoria).
Expertise in Gynaecologic Surgery
Dr. Miras’ main expertise is in Gynaecologic Surgery, particularly Minimally Invasive Procedures. He has a special interest in the surgical treatment of various gynaecological conditions such as;
pelvic organs prolapse
urinary incontinence
uterine fibroids
endometriosis
ovarian cysts
among others
Office procedures
Dr. Miras also provides office procedures such as;
colposcopy and vulvoscopy (with or without biopsy)
pipelle endometrial biopsy
insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (Mirena and copper IUD)
incision and drainage of a Bartholin cyst or abscess
among others
